High quality streets, squares and parks

The streets, squares and parks form the physical space in which great part of our life in society is developed.

There are spaces for coexistence, to take for a walk, for relationships with neighbours, to talk and for children to play. They must be spaces that offer to us a kind landscape and at the same time suitable for vehicles and people's mobility.The municipality bet of transformation in the neighbourhoods of Fondo, El Raval, Santa Rosa and Safaretjos wants to satisfy all these necessities.

Improving the connection of the Neighbourhoods of Serra d'en Mena with the Northern of Barcelona

The Circumval.lació street restructuring into an urban basic axis of the districts of two slopes of Serra d'en Mena contributes with a great added value to whole actions of the project, when becomes in a new space of functional and social cohesion that will share the neighbourshoods and the towns of Santa Coloma and Badalona.

The Opening of new streets and squares creation. "Eix Bruc"

The Integral reform of Circumval.lació street is accompanied by actions of improvement to connect with road network, make them as a whole more efficient and, therefore, facilitating mobility and the connection between the neighbourshoods.

The elimination of Sant Pasqual passage and Bruc Street  prolongation until connecting with Circumval.lació street will allow the intervention in one of the most degraded places of  Fondo neighbourhood.

A green space of 424 m2 is generated and is connected to Bruc Street. The connection between Joan Valentí Escalas and Liszt streets is also prepared to improve the union with Badalona. With this action the target area will gain a new square of 1.468 m2.

Improvement of the streets of the neighboushoods

It is planned a wide range of improvement actions of neighbourhood streets urbanization. The planned improvements included paving renovation, woodland, street furniture and also an important part of services net (street lighting, selective collection contaniners, etc).

Improvements in the Park dels Pins

With the Park dels Pins inner adjustments and with the reform actions in the surrounding area, it tries that this one becomes into a kinder space for citizen use. Their 19,089 m2 form a green space that we must make profitable in benefit of everybody in this transformation process.

The New Mediterrania Square

This new square located between the streets Beethoven and Verdi has an area of 17,900 m2 and occupies all the Fondo Swimming pools indoor. From this inauguration this space has become an excellent leisure time and meeting point for adults and children.

Passage of  Victoria Reform

This passage, historically degraded, is in the depth of regeneration process. The old buildings have been eliminated and it is planned to build 28 new houses and 25 parking spots in that space. Also, it  will take place the present stairs elimination and it will be opened to road traffic for connecting Circumval.lació street to Mas Marí street.

Raval River Front

With the construction of Raval Front River actions, the city in general, and the sourthern area neighbourshoods, in particular, will get  a green space with more than 20,000 m2 and which 16,000 m2 will be completely new. At the same time new condominiums, parking spots and commercial sites will be built to revitalize this singular space next to the river.
