Reduced water consumption
The network will use groundwater in Santa Coloma de Gramenet these coming years and will grow steadily and with it the consumption of cubic metres of water that saves the network of drinking water.
The ultimate goal is to decrease the dependency on the network of drinking water and use it more efficiently uses.
Environmental Awareness campaigns
We will continue with awareness campaigns being made at school level and for the general public, and will expanded them to commercial and industrial level. In the coming years we will include the increased spending of water in the industrial sectors to find out if the growth of consumption in this sector is associated with the increase in industrial production or whether it is due to unsustainable use of water.
Treatment of industrial water of the Polygon Forest Long
With regard to industrial wastewater from Long Industrial Park Forest, the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet has approved a government board of the Project Network Connection metropolitan sewer sanitation of Long Industrial Park Forest. The project aims to connect the sewer with the left side of the river Besòs which has its home along the river in elevation cemetery of Santa Coloma. The council expected the next few years to develop this project.
