The recent approval of the Order of Noise in Santa Coloma in the coming years will be completed by monitoring of compliance, requiring the adoption of the necessary corrective measures, pointing out limitations and prohibitions, conducting inspections and applying and implementing the corresponding sanctions. Ordinances governing, among others, buildings, industries and businesses in general, transit and motor vehicles, actions to the public highway, works and activities of loading and unloading, waste management, free festive activities, citizen behavior, people events neighbourhood,etc.
By making the noise produced specifically for transit, it is expected that the development of the Urban Mobility Plan, which shall be made during the period 2007-2010, to improve levels of noise from road traffic.
In this regard, the decrease in speed has a direct effect on reducing noise levels. That is why in the coming years will be implemented in the municipality Zones 30 and defined in the Plan Mobility Santa Coloma, such as roads maximum speed 30 km/hr.
We will continue with the implementation of the system for regulating traffic lights SAE, which makes more fluid circulation, reducing traffic noise levels
It intends to ask the Council district of Barcelona acoustic treatment in the stretch of B10 that passes along the Park River in Santa Coloma.
With regard to commercial activities, will continue with awareness campaigns and informative as well as by such inspections to enforce the order of noise.
